For five years after completing law school, I worked primarily in matters related to Immigration Law and Criminal Defense. I am fluent in Spanish and provide quality legal services in many areas of immigration law, including but not limited to Family-based Immigrant visas, Non-Immigrant Visas, Naturalization, U Visas (visas for victims of crimes), and VAWA (visas for victims of domestic violence). I also assist individuals who are in deportation proceedings and those with criminal charges that might affect their immigration status. Lastly, I am an attorney, but I am also a wife and mother. My husband, Amador, and I are committed to our family and we LOVE our children, Diego, Mateo, and Michael. My office is devoted to the practice of immigration law, and to uniting families and keeping them united.
I was born and raised in the Lower Yakima Valley, and graduated from Grandview High School in 1998. I am first generation Mexican American. I am the daughter of immigrants who have been farm workers for most of their lives and who continue to reside in Grandview, Washington. They are two of the most hard-working individuals I know. They taught me to work hard, help others, and above all, be humble. I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Law and Justice at Central Washington University in 2003. Shortly thereafter, I began working as a Legal Assistant for a great attorney in Yakima, WA. After working for this law office for four years, I went on to attend and graduate from University of Idaho College of Law.
